Tres bon

J attend le 2 sur mac avec impatience

Läuft einwandfrei

Läuft einwandfrei auf dem iMac early 2008 2,8 4GB Radeon HD2600 Pro.

Slick FPS

This is a slick, fun and well crafted first person shooter. The story is quite engaging and draws one on to see how it will all unfold. No complaints for controls, weaponry and computer AI. However, if you were to grab hold of the start of the game and the end of the game and then give it a slight tug, then the game would reveals itself a single long corridor. The slickness and beautiful layouts almost hide the fact it amounts to running down one endless corridor with scripted computer opponents jumping out at you. It is definitely the most linear level design in FPS that Ive seen. Players looking for freedom to explore, or at least the illusion of choice of direction, will find it lacking here. In the end, still enjoyable and fun.

An awesome experience

I enjoyed every second of this game. Its an unusual twist on the FPS formula, the game is beautiful to look at, the gun play is satisfying, and its extremely immersive.

Amazing Game!!!

If you are a fan of Sci-Fi FPS games, then you will fall in love with this awesome game: It has a great story, characters, weapons, puzzles and enemies! Have fun playing guys! :)

Not working in Yosemite 10.10.1

It doesn’t even start. Please update it.

Classic title finally on the mac

Totally emersive game with gravity and perspective bending mechanics. It runs beautifully at maximum settings on my new 15 inch Macbook Pro.

Great price, a couple days after release.

Wonderful game, even better price 3 days after release (boo for me...)

Works Great on my Mac Mini and Macbook Pro

this game maybe some years old but runs better than doom3 did and it uses mostly the same engine. awesome

perfect release from Aspyr!

Very engaging story, FANTASTIC soundtrack and wonderful use of songs (Dont Fear the Reapers timing is hilarious!), graphics are very nice and can run full speed at max settings silky smooth on just a MacBook. Gameplay is wonderful, learning curve is *just hard enough*, the gravity and "spirit walking" touches are truly unique - a wonderful release!! Thanks Aspyr for releasing your games on the Mac App store!

LEGIT!

I have a standard Mac book (nothing too fancy) so I was pretty dissapointed to discover the lack of games available. I got Starcraft 2 and the Sims 3 which are both great games but not exactly my style. Thats why I was stoked to see this title for only $20 bucks on the AppStore. Its beautiful and runs smoothly (running on Mac osx ver. 10.6.7). I love games that think out of the box and tell great stories like this one. If youre going to get a game for your Mac, this is the one to buy. I would love to see more games of this nature available (Left 4 Dead?)

BEST GRAPHICS EVER!!!

for a downloaded game, these graphics are awesome! but.... LAGS! IT LAGS ALOT! I have a 21 inch imac and games never lag. PLEEEESE fix it and i will proudly give it 5 stars

Fantastic game!

I always wanted to play this game, but when it came out my old laptop was too underpowered. Now here it is five years later and it runs perfectly on my 11" 128GB/4GB/1.4 MacBook Air. This is a really great port and an excellent game, and I cant recommend it enough!

Still great even after all these years

Its definitely an older game (I feel old even saying that), but it definitely still shines. It had portals *before* Portal came out, and has all sorts of wacky gravity and trippy experiences. Great atmosphere and gameplay elements, too (the post-death spirit hunting is both great and also a good hand-holder for people who might be new enough to the genre to die alot). It also doesnt hurt that Aspyr added some updates to this newer App Store release, namely the Casino mode (to play the minigames) and the ability to plug in your iTunes library into the jukeboxes (though itd be great if album art also showed up). Definitely worth your money.

Losing my faith in the App store and mac gaming in general.

Dont buy if you use a soundcard like the DUET. Seriously Apple, you need to give options to refund your poorly designed and non working software App store stuff, this game and MC Domination, both purchaces DO NOT WORK ON MY MACHINE, i7.

Awesome game!!!

Amazing game. Runs on the Mac just as awesome. I have an iMac Intel Core 2 Duo 3.06 GHz, 4 GB Ram, and run a NIVIDIA GeForce 9400. Missed it when my 360 tanked after 8 months (long before they started issuing longer warranties), but Im glad its back on the Mac. Lower the price on it down to $19.99 and Ill give it five stars. But for now, Ill give it four. Seeing that I bought the collectors edition around five years ago for the 360, the age of the game should reflect on the price at least. And my other complaint which is VERY minor, is the sensitivity on the magic mouse when switching weapons. Sometimes Ill brush against it by accident and it snubs the gameplay a bit.

Just one question?

I love this game qreat story , very interesting Weapins good enemys and just alot of fun.... However i see theres a LAN prey? is that online and if so how do i use it?

Fun game…amazing performance.

Amazing performance on a dated machine…I have the Aluminum Unibody MacBook with the 9400m graphics card and this game runs on high settings at 1080p with 90FPS….amazing!

Classical Game - But no sound

I enjoyed Prey on my windows machine before and I was so pleased that it is running fine on my Mac Mini (2011) in Full HD. Only problem is that there is no sound when using USB Headphones. So it somewhat lacks the intense the game is well known for. Hope an update in the future will fix this bug so I can finally play it :)

One of the few great OSX games around

As others have noted, Prey is a sight-and-sound pleaser to be sure. Graphics are smooth and fast on my 2.8Ghz MBP and the funky way this game plays with gravity shifting will keep you guessing on how best to get through levels. I cant get over the few humorous moments put into the game, such as the scene where aliens are rocking out to the jukebox playing Judas Priest, "Youve got another thing coming" right before you fight them. Hilarious. And poignant. Who said serious shooters couldnt be a little funny? Visually this is almost as stunning as TRON 2.0 was when it was released but the levels and gameplay are more defined with a better storyline. Its too bad the majority of OSX games are puny, childish cartoon-ish nonsense; deeply developed and visual stunners like this could easily be ported to Mac (Portal, for example) and why more arent is strange, but Prey is definitely worth the money regardless how old it is.
